About

I am Florence

I come from Bordeaux, France, and have been living in the USA since 2013. I have been fortunate to be able to live and work in English-speaking countries and in Asia. Everywhere, I’ve helped teenagers and adults learn and/or improve their French.

In the USA I am a state certified Modern Languages teacher. I am also certified by the International Baccalaureate Organization to deliver the MYP and DP Language Acquisition programs. I have a MA in Education and 10 years teaching experience in high schools.

I love teaching, learning, and sharing my language and culture. I have done so with many around the world.

I am well organized, patient and flexible but mostly, I am enthusiastic about what I do. I like to get to know my students well to better suit their needs and pace. My students are varied and range from teenagers to adults. I adapt my teaching to everyone’s learning style.

When not working, I love anything to do with nature and animals. I have a passion for cooking and travelling to visit friends, family or to discover new places. I also like my quiet time with a book or a good movie or a documentary.
